Frederique Constant

Frederique Constant’s slogan is “Live your passion”, and we do. Passion definitely shows through our craftsmanship, as well as our charitable donations. We create beautiful watches with precision design that are assembled by hand, allowing for a high quality timepiece each and every time.

Established in 1988, Aletta Bax and Peter Stas launched their first collection in 1992, comprising six models fitted with Swiss movements and assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Frédérique Constant is involved in all the stages of watch production, from initial design to final assembly. Strong emphasis is placed on watch design to keep abreast of trends and customer preferences.

Perceived value is important, so we know that quality must be consistent in our work and is vital to our success. We are equally as passionate about charity, with $50 from each watch sold in our Double Heart Beat Collection donated to various charities. These charities include those related to the heart and children.

The new Frédérique Constant manufacture and international headquarters measures 3200 square meters, divided over four floors, offering an attractive working environment in the sectors of movement component production, calibre assembly, watch assembly, and extensive quality control. In addition to the more than 20 in-house movements created there, the manufacture is also home to the production of the world’s first Swiss-made Horological Smart Watch, powered by patented Motion X technology.

Within the Frederique Constant family also exists Swiss heritage sporting watch brand, Alpina, which manufactures extremely reliable professional sports watches, respecting and implementing the "Alpinist Principle" in manufacturing, design and technological innovation.

Ateliers deMonaco is the third brand in the Frederique Constant group, producing luxury, mechanical timepieces reimagined with Nouvelle Horlogerie to improve precision, and to challenge existing conventions and leave a legacy.
