Alpina

Our mission is now and has always been to manufacture extremely reliable professional sports watches, respecting and implementing the "Alpinist Principle" in manufacturing, design and technological innovation. Our work is deeply inspired by the legacy of our visionary founder, Gottlieb Hauser. Our "Alpinist" philosophy is shaped exclusively by the attitude required by sportsmen to perform in the reality of the most difficult natural environments.
From the very beginning, as far back as 1883, Alpina has been associated with horological innovation. Whether it was our innovative way of creating an excellent working environment, or through the introduction of new quality control criteria before anyone else, Alpina has always sought ways to improve how things are done.
From the very beginning, as far back as 1883, Alpina has been associated with horological innovation. Whether it was our innovative way of creating an excellent working environment, or through the introduction of new quality control criteria before anyone else, Alpina has always sought ways to improve how things are done.
During its 132-year history, Alpina has always been a manufacturer of calibers and complications. Among its remarkable 20th century calibers, one can find industry references such as the Cal. 877, the "engine" of the "Alpina Techno," the handwinding Cal. 592, one of the sturdiest watch movements of its generation, and the famous 17 jewels self-winding 584 Caliber, also called the 'Hammerautomatik'.
Since our comeback in 2002, we have launched five new in-house developed, produced and assembled calibers. With the introduction of the Tourbillon, the Regulator, the World Timer, the Small Date Automatic and the Flyback Chronograph Manufacture Calibers, Alpina has once again taken its rightful place among the small and select group of independent Swiss watch manufacturers that completely develop and produce their own calibers in-house.

The new Seastrong Diver Heritage Fifty years its first appearance, the Alpina "Seastrong 10" Super Compressor diving watch is reimagined as the Alpina "Seastrong Diver Heritage" - more than a replica, a modern interpretation of a Swiss watchmaking classic.
The modern case design in classic stainless steel (increased to a 42mm diameter) with an engraved screwed case back resists water pressure up to 300 m/1000ft. The AL-525 automatic caliber ensures timekeeping with 28,800 vibrations per hour and 38 hour power reserve.
Admirers of the retro look will love the traditional light-dark contrast dial design. Those who prefer elegant understatement will appreciate the exclusively dark option.
